The Joint Laboratory is led by Prof. ZHANG Xin, Chair Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at HKUST, and Director of the Aerodynamics and Acoustics Facility and of the HKUST Sports Science and Technology Research Center.
Helping us route your enquiry
The Laboratory works through projects rather than general consultancy. A short description of the question you are trying to answer is the most useful thing to include, and it will reach the right investigator faster.
- The sport or activity involved, and the level — recreational, national or elite.
- The question you want answered, and what you would do with the answer.
- Whether equipment, an athlete, or a performance process is the subject of the study.
- Any constraints: timeline, access to participants, existing data, or confidentiality.
- For student and placement enquiries, your programme, supervisor and area of interest.
